Ben is 9 Months!

Time certainly has flown by the past few months. Ben is getting so big! At his nine month appointment, Ben was 30 inches long (95th percentile), 21.5lbs (65th percentile) and was right in line with what other babies are doing his age. He has two more teeth on the bottom and it appears as if his two front teeth are trying to poke through, but haven't quite made it yet. Ben isn't crawling or walking yet. He does enjoy standing up and playing with his toys vs. sitting down and playing.

He also LOVES to babble and his Dad and I are starting to think he knows our names. Last weekend, I woke up to get Ben since he was starting to fuss in his crib. He started saying "Da Da", which would make sense since his Dad usually is the one to get him in the mornings, since I am already at work by the time he wakes up. I walked in the room the same day and Ben looked at me and started saying "Ma Ma Ma".

Ben is just a joy to our lives. He is such a happy and well mannered baby. He is so easy going and just loves to find anything to laugh about. Plus in his Mama's eyes, he is the most handsome baby ever. He is deemed "the ladies man" already. One day, I walked into his day care room and found not one but five babies surrounding him. It was a little peculiar since there were no toys around him and he was just in a swing. One baby was pushing him, another one was playing with the toys on his swing, another baby was talking to him, the other was just looking at him and there was another baby on her way over there. Wouldn't you know, that all these babies were girls? Not one boy!
